Dementia is a syndrome through which memory, thinking, behavior and the ability to perform everyday activities gradually diminishes. Alzheimer is the most common cause of Dementia. Although dementia is not a normal part of aging, it mainly affects older people. Almost all of the people with dementia feel isolated and this isolation speeds up the disease progression. Studies reveal that lonely people have higher risk of Alzheimer disease compared to people who were not lonely.

This virtual world has a beautiful nature and cozy gathering points. We have considered the elements of a dementia-friendly environment in designing this world, such as irregular layouts, vibrant spaces, using blue/red/green colors, etc. While a virtual tour guide, guides the users to explore this virtual world and attend in their desired sessions, users can move in the world, find their counterparts, and communicate with them.

Love Garden

LGBT or straight, they can always explore the love garden to find a match and date inside our safe environment without any anxiety.

Group Sessions

Group Sessions give them a sense of belonging. They have opportunity to express themselves, as well as supporting their peers by sharing similar experiences. (these sessions have dedicated facilitators)
